Veo Robotics: 2022 Year In Summary
It’s been a big year for us here at Veo Robotics! Here’s what happened in 2022:
FreeMove® 2.0 Engine
First and foremost, we recently launched our redesigned FreeMove® 2.0 Engine. Our new and improved Engine is a high-performance industrial computer with a proprietary safety architecture that works alongside our FreeMove Sensors to monitor workcells in 3D. Its adds support for complex applications and harsh environments as human-robot collaboration on facility floors increases.
With congested and busy production floors, manufacturers typically have FreeMove supporting workcells that are overlapping. The upgraded engine enables safeguarding multiple workcells in a variety of configurations. Additional advancements of the new engine include better environmental robustness to work within harsh environments, reducing startup time, and improved sensor registration. It maintains the original powerful software that runs on fail-safe hardware.
2022 Manufacturing Automation Outlook
The use of robotics and automation within the manufacturing industry has experienced significant growth over the last few years. In the shadow the COVID-19 pandemic manufacturers continue to experience persistent supply chain issues, unprecedented labor shortages, and inflation, which only increase the need for automation and innovative technology.
As a result, we surveyed more than 500 manufacturers across the US, UK, and Japan to inform the following Veo Robotics’ 2022 Manufacturing Automation Outlook. The outlook explores the ways manufacturers are integrating robots into their workforce, how this integration impacts their facilities and human workers, and what organizations can do to optimize their robotics strategy to pave a path toward success.
Automate and IMTS 2022
We were fortunate to have in-person event back with full force. We were happy to see so many of you in-person and have a fully safeguarded workcell with an impressively fast robot on display so you could see FreeMove in action. Both Automate and IMTS were extremely successful shows for Veo. We had a very high volume of customers and potential partners stop by our booth. We look forward to seeing you again in 2023!
And as if that were not enough to brag about, we’ve also successfully deployed FreeMove for multiple applications with key strategic accounts throughout the year.
