Veo Robotics: 2021 Year In Summary

It’s been a big year for us here at Veo Robotics! Here’s what happened in 2021:

First and foremost, we received our ISO certification from TÜV Rheinland and announced the launch of FreeMove®, our safety-rated, production-ready 3D safeguarding system for human-robot collaboration.

Created with the mission of addressing the limitations of current manufacturing technology, Veo is adding intelligence and perception to industrial robots so that humans and robots can work together productively, safely, and comfortably.

FreeMove can be utilized in a wide range of applications including manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, and material handling. FreeMove will enable more flexible and efficient workcells by allowing the use of standard industrial robots in collaborative applications. FreeMove enables manufacturing and logistics engineers to safeguard both robot and non-robot hazards, providing a comprehensive safety system that provides labor savings in the design and commissioning of complex workcells. This leads to shorter design times, less custom machinery, and shorter lead times before workcells are operational. FreeMove also improves robot and human utilization with reduced nuisance faults, providing shorter cycle times and higher throughput, higher unit production rates, and quicker fault recovery, all with improved ergonomics and safety.

Safe, dynamic human-machine interaction is the future of manufacturing.

With the completion of our ISO certification, we turned our attention to growing our channel strategy and developing integration partners. We were very pleased to add 5 partners to our Veo Certified Systems Integrator Program in 2021.

Partnering with systems integrators is a key component in our go-to-market strategy and therefore, in achieving our mission and helping advance automation in manufacturing as a whole. Systems integrators are crucial as they provide valuable expertise and execution needed to build manufacturing processes that are reliable and efficient.

In February, we announced our first Certified Systems Integrator, Calvary Robotics, and in April, alongside the safety-certified version of FreeMove, we announced Factory Automation Systems. In September, we added two more partners with the addition of ABCO Automation and PDSI. Today, we are thrilled to unveil that Gray Solutions has joined our roster.

We are ready for 2022 and the opportunity to add more Systems Integrators to our program.

Additionally, we were finally able to return to in-person events to interact with our customers and partners.

At the end of September, Veo was able to be in attendance at PackExpo in Las Vegas. We were happy to see so many of you in-person and have a full workcell on display so you could see FreeMove in action. PackExpo was an extremely successful show for Veo. We had a very high volume of customers and potential partners stop by our booth.

Plus, Veo was featured in Phil Britt’s Pack Expo 2021: Robots Seek to Meet Worker Shortage, Efficiency Challenges on robotics247.com.

And as if that were not enough to brag about, we’ve also successfully deployed FreeMove for multiple applications with key strategic accounts throughout the year.

As Veo Robotics continues to grow, we are thankful for your support and are looking forward to sharing everything that 2022 has to offer.

Cheers and Happy New Year from all of us at Veo Robotics!
